Every night around sunset we are serenaded by the gathering of the the grackles in the trees and on the wire behind our lot. Most nights the noise level can be a little too much. Tonight is was at an enjoyable level.

Time for grilling more planked chilpolte lime salmon.
Served with balsamic glazed asparagus and stuffed mushrooms with a bottle of homemade wine that I make especially for my wife.
I have just as much fun designing the wine labels as I do making the wine. I try to have the image on the label tell something about the wine.

Compare the bottom left corner of this image with the one above. What are the odds I would take that first photo just as the package fell off the shelf? Or that the one that fell off the shelf was the brand I was going to buy. I knew it was what to buy because of the photo I posted a few says ago. Like I said then, smart Rob.
Forget Me Not
Being new at this designated family shopper task and not always being able to remember exactly what specific size or type of item to buy has resulted in this. I take a photo on my phone of the item, then compare it to what is on the store shelf. The result is a happy wife when I come home with exactly what she wanted. Rob is a smart boy.
