Transferring everything from a dead computer to a new one proved to be far less difficult than I originally thought. Doing Duck Duck Go (DDG) search of the internet turned up the solution to the problem, a downloadable software package called Laplink PCMover Professional. The reason I picked this one was because I needed to transfer everything from the HHD since the computer was not working. I also bought a powered SATA adapter to power and connect the old HHD to my new computer. I had watched the LapLink YouTube video for the PCMover Professional several times before doing the transfer and everything just as expected. To say the least, I was very pleased with the results going from Windows 10 on the old HDD to Windows 11 on the new computer.
