Strasbourg – Our Room at Hotel Gutenberg

The room was somewhat larger than the typical small rooms we usually find in France during our travels. It was also very well appointed. The room overlook an alleyway and with double windows was very quiet.

At first I tried to make the letters on the headboard of the bed into a word. Then came that Duh! moment. Hotel Gutenberg, Johannes Gutenberg, he of the invention of movable type. I must be getting old. The bed is two twins put together, so lots of room for two.

The bathroom was downright huge. Plenty of counter space to lay things out, a heated drying rack for towels and clothes. Robes and slippers also.

Large walk in shower with multiple heads and NUXE hair and body cleansing gel was beyond awesome. No conditioner needed, either as the gel did it all. With the location being so close to the tram line and everything in the old town being a short walk away it was the perfect place to stay.
