A Day of West Texas Wind

Dust

It was a day of two hands on the steering wheel and constantly correcting the drift to the left made worse by the constant wind gusts. The dry landscape of West Texas meant dust was in the air. Being dependent on my travel companion to take photos I’ll post what she took. For all I know she was maybe getting seasick from all the back and forth motion. Once she mentioned we should stop and rest for a while. I said no, that would just mean it would be later when I no longer had to fight the wind. At least tomorrow we are staying put. The really bad part was the weather forecast was for the same high winds as yesterday and we still traveled. Some days you should just stay in bed.
