First it was my wife’s computer, then it was my computer, and now it is my phone that has stopped working. That last one was an easy quick fix as I had purchased a Moto E on sale last year as a backup in case something like this happened. I wonder if that was the reason my phone failed, it knew I had a backup ready? Can our technology devices really think for themselves? Isn’t it strange how the human mind works? Time to come back to reality from the twilight zone, lol.
Grilled Salmon and the Trimmings

Planked chilpolte and lime salmon so fresh of the grill the plank is still glowing.

Glazed asparagus, stuffed mushrooms and sliced small cucumbers and sweet peppers. I think her artistic side came out today. We may only eat two meals a day, but those meals are really, really good. And yet so easy to prepare. Simple is good.
And Then My Computer Also Failed

There is definitely a black cloud hanging over us, as my computer also stopped working. It was a refurbished work station I have had for a number of years and its failure means buying a new computer for my wife, so back we went to the B&H website and soon she also has a new computer on order. I don’t think the saying that goes, “When it rains it pours” is right. In our case it should be “When it rains it is the monster of all monster cloudbursts.”
It’s Going to be an Interesting Sunset

The reds on the southwest horizon suggested this might be an interesting angle to photograph the sunset if I just waited a few minutes..

I think the wait was definitely worth it.
Her Computer Stopped Working

My wife’s computer, it as getting quit old, had been giving her problems lately. Sometimes the computer didn’t want to come on and other times it would start but her monitor wouldn’t come on. This time her computer refused to come on no matter what she did.

I finally got the on/off switch to work but no matter what I tried the monitor would show the power was on, but no images appeared. Changed out the HDMI cable, no joy, tried her monitor connected to my computer with both her and my cables and it worked no problem.
Since her computer was so old we jointly decided I would get a new computer and she would use my current computer. She said she could go a few days using her iPad, so I ordered an new computer for me from B&H.
