Watering A Raised Bed

When we installed and filled the new metal raised beds we included a riser from the irrigation lines. Once we determined what would be planted in the bed we could install a manifold and install the appropriate drip irrigation lines.

Ready to go.

A kneeling pad is a necessity when working in the garden, especially at my age. (That mulch is dangerous.)

Pipe cutter for the riser. We decided to install a different type of outlet than we usually do. Only four outlets and only one adjustment for all the outlets.

All finished. It works great and she already had beets planted.

Smoked Jalapeno Salmon Burgers

The MAK One-Star General doing its thing.

I find it interesting that since we discovered these Jalapeno salmon burgers beef burgers which we very seldom had have become a thing past though we still have the occasional sausage burger. We usually buy three packs at a time and smoke them all at once, split one between us and freeze the others to eat later.

After smoking them for a time the heat is turned up to finish them. We like them really smokey, enough so that when a frozen one is defrosting we can smell the smoke. It’s the great thing about having the smoker, we can smoke them the way we like them. some things are just worth the cost.

It Was Really Dusty

We have the ceiling fan in our 5th wheel RV running all the time. It was “suggested” by she who “suggests” things that maybe it needed cleaning.

Very shortly thereafter I got out step stool to take a closer look, discovering the ceiling dusty.

It also looked like there might be some dust on the leading edge of the fan blades.

Yes, there was definitely a little dust of the edge of the blades.

Something tells me she will be suggesting the fan and ceiling area needs cleaning more often in the future.
